Process
Query
The first thing to do is to arrange a telephone chat where we can answer any of your queries. We will also take some basic information such as your year of birth and location so we can get a head start on how to personalise the Moving Memoir. It is at this point, you may wish to make any special requests. Our aim is to customise each Moving Memoir to fit your needs so any requests are most welcome.
Interview
Booking
If you are happy with what you have heard from us about the Moving Memoir experience, we will then book in a time and place for the interview; for most clients, this is usually in their home surroundings but we are happy to meet wherever you feel comfortable and where it is relatively quiet. We will email to you a form which will request some basic information to be included in your Moving Memoir.
Scanning
On the actual interview day itself, one member of our team will meet with you. They will carry ID. The interviewer will then set up their equipment and make sure you are comfortable. Talking about your life can be daunting but we aim for it to be enjoyable and incisive, The interviewer will then gently guide you in telling your life story on camera. This can take from one to three hours with comfort breaks in between.
On the interview day itself, the interviewer will scan any documents or images you may have so these can be used in your Moving Memoir. We will also ask you to select some music from our collection to accompany the credits in your Moving Memoir.
Production
Our production crew will then seamlessly blend you interview, images, documents and music in to one seamless story. A link will then be emailed to you so you can access the story and check it for yourself. We are happy to make any amendments.
Delivery
Once this first draft of a Moving Memoir is signed off by the client we can then deliver this to you on two USB memory sticks or more if you prefer. You are also able to download from your Moving Memoir from a link we will provide. This is password protected but it means you can share it with as many people as you wish.
